A quick little visit to Eagle's Nest

We forgot to mention our quick little visit to Eagle's Nest that was on Tuesday on our way back from the Mayan village.  We asked our driver if we would be able to stop by quickly to be able to see the orphanage that some of our dear friends have been involved with through adoption and mission trips.  It was great to be able to see yet another orphanage and where those kids were being loved and where Jesus was talked about.  Our team was thankful for the sweet time we had there.
Molly, this one's for you!!

  1. Oh my, I could not help but cry. Molly and Spencer will both just love seeing these faces, so many familiar, but the first one, she will just love. They are on a college ministry work trip in Mississippi, without internet access, but had said they would so look forward to catching up on the blog, upon return to college in Missouri next wk. They love the mama's who love on the children at Eagles Nest....sure it was a blessing, as all of your days have been. Praying for more for you! Julie T.

  2. It looks so different without all the dozens of cribs everywhere, even pushed right up against the kitchen counter-top! I think they will be a full house again before you know it. Thanks for taking some pics!! Felis said some sweet things about all of you on her facebook wishing she could have spent more time with all of you!

Just read your previous post about the state run orphanage... broke my heart. Thankful for Jesus' hands and feet loving on them all through your faithful and willing hearts!

    Praying for good travel home...
